As the groom, I have virtually no idea what the bride will be wearing this far away from the day.  However, I do have some idea of how we would like everyone else to dress.  “Semi-Formal” is the aspiration for the day – the event will be low-key so the Sunday-best will not be necessary – please no suits with tails or grand capes or tuxedos.  However, it is a wedding, so we ask that no jeans or t-shirts be worn – and of course, no shoes, no shirt, no service.

I’ll probably modify this description as the occasion approaches.  Better just choose a simple suit or dress to wear.
