So the invitations went out last week and we’ve already heard back from some of the invitees – things are getting interesting already!  It seems that now would be a good time to get this website kicked off so that we can share the details of the day with our friends and families, and … the rest of the world?  The NSA?

I think that it would be great to share some of the prep of the wedding with the world as it happens, and of course, to have a nice place to put all of the wedding assets that we see fit to share.

Like at the moment, we are selecting a photographer for the wedding.  Normally, people would probably choose a photographer months and months ahead of the event, but because I am a terrible planner, I have left this to almost the last minute.  Fortunately, we have engaged a great photographer named Melanie to help us capture those special moments that even we won’t be able to appreciate, because we will be busy getting married!  But more about her later.

And also, there shall be entertainment!  Yes, musicians shall abound – Anita and Liv will be providing awesome acoustic sounds to warm the atmosphere around our special day.  We’re super-excited to have them around – and to not be getting married in a school gymnasium!

Anyway, I don’t want to spoil everything in the first post.  More to come.  I’m pretty sure! 😉
